Amanda’s Story

I was born and raised in the United States. At the age of 16, my life took a drastic turn, and I experienced trauma, grief, depression, low self-esteem, and anxiety. I also watched my family go through similar experiences.
I moved to Australia with my Australian husband at the end of January 2020 and the beginning of COVID. Being an expat in Australia, on the other side of the world from everyone I knew and everything I was used to, I learned a lot about myself, and my way of thinking changed. I began a healing journey.
On this journey, I began to shed the version of myself that I created to make the world happy. I started discovering the version of me that I want to be, and somatically healing things that I had previously only talked about in therapy.
I am passionate about working with you to help you get clearer on what you want in life, who you are and the version of yourself that you’d like to be – not just the one that the world tells you that you should be.
